I returned that pair for a refund and re-ordered, considering that maybe I had received a faulty pair, since I've had good luck with most Sony products

For a cheap pair of ear

The first pair were fine when I first used them, then I thought I did something to make the right earbud stop working, so I ordered another pair.

My last pair were perfect so I decided to buy the same model and color

Really good pair

While I can't say I didn't not expect this from such a cheap pair of earphones, I did expect to be able to use them for a bit.

The problem is that both pairs just randomly stopped working

My daughter loves these, and at this price I just buy 3 or 4 pair a year and worry about other things.

I like the microphone and the play/pause button, and they're really good and a cheap price, so I can buy a new pair when I do lose them.

The Sony MDR-EX15AP are a solid pair of budget earbuds

The old pair was great, but I can definitely notice the improvements made over the last 5 years.

I just took a pair of these out of the box and the left bud doesn't work

I wore another pair the next day and ruined the right ear

and I don't ever hesitate to buy another pair if I lose mine.

I would recommend getting a different pair of earbuds and not wasting your money on these ones.

If you're looking for a relatively cheap pair of headphones that are good for music, I recommend the Sennheiser CX200 which are typically around $20.

I could technically RMA them to Sony as it is within 30 days, but I don't see the point on wasting money on shipping that could go towards a better pair from a different manufacturer

Maybe I got a faulty pair, or maybe these are just garbage now

Over all I was very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone that needs a good pair to last them a while.

5th pair I've owned and same problem kills them every time

This new pair had the SAME problems, and on top of that, the mic didn't work!

Another "designed to fail" pair of headphones

Great value for use on all devices, but paired with Sony devices they are great

People who wear ear buds a lot can agree that a pair of ear buds are only as good as their fit/comfort

I don't know if my pair is defective as I've never gotten this particular model before but the sound quality is awful, it's very muddy and hard to hear

That pair lasted 2 weeks before the left bud stopped working

I have bought several pairs of this exact type of earbud and not a single one has worked for more than 3 months at a time

So if you want a decent pair of headphones that will last you somewhere around a month, these are perfect for you.

Spend more $$ and get a dependable pair.

I love these headphones, this is my third pair I have purchased now- only because I lose them.
