I purchased these in less then 6 months ago and the piece that holds the ear cup was cheaply made and broke while i was taking them off my head.
-
Look, this is a great sounding piece of technology, but it suffers because of either poor design choices or shady business practices
-
The headphones were designed with a thin, brittle piece of plastic at a stress point and this piece will weaken and break apart within a few months under regular use.
-
If anyone can help me out with this situation, I'll gladly change my review to the 5 stars this impressive piece of technology deserves
-
pieces smelled funny.
-
Surprisingly, the exact same thing happened to my new ones, where I was wearing them like any other day, and one of the ear cups decided to break its plastic piece that holds it to the headband itself

-
The piece of plastic that connects the headphone to the swivel is hollow on the inside, which makes it prone to breaking
-
Great piece
-
1/8 in piece of PLASTIC holding ear cups to headband broke and Sony's response was essentially too bad you paid for these overpriced pieces of crap.
-
UPDATE 2017/11/20:The black part is still falling off piece by piece and it made the device really uncomfortable to wear.
-
Headphone piece broke - the small plastic piece that connects from the 'speaker' to the top frame
-
I knew if I were to drop these on a patted floor from a low height that a piece might crack or completely just break off
-
i can't very well use it to cancel the noise out and get some shut eye while listening to music; i'll have to use my headphones
-
I doubt I
-
Mine broke as I was taking them off, and it's exactly one year after I bought them, so disappointing
-
Sturdy (I've dropped them several times over the past year), loud and clear (when I need them to be
-
perfect,I like it very much
