Was shocked at how good bass comes across.

The sound is full and the bass is nice and clear (perfect for hiphop lovers like myself)

it definitely sound better then the 100's though it doesn't fall into the trap I described above, when sometimes they add "more bass" and it turns out the bass is so strong, that it drowns everything else out.

At low volume on my SONY CMT-EP505 MICRO HI-FI COMPONENT SYSTEM, the best setting was "POP" and "MEGABASS", as the treble needed a tone control boost of three notches, and the bass needed a boost of two notches
