All equipment needed comes with the unit (much unlike my Sharp unit).

This unit works great and does exactly what it advertises to do

All in all, it's not a perfect MD unit, but it fits my needs quite well, and I do recommend it to others.

The unit is backlit, durable, works off of batteries and can record in Minidisc formats up to LP4 (4-5 hours per minidisc

the portable player was problaby the worst piece of electronics i've ever owned (i won't get into the attrocities of it).about 3 years ago, i upgraded my portable unit to thesony mz-e44 model.

But the problem is that most of the players have useless displays in any other light but 100% so this unit is welcome for the LED display
