Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones WH1000XM2: Over Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones with Microphone - Hi Res Audio and Active Sound Cancellation - Foldable On Ear Headphones with Travel Case - Gold

    • I hope I don't turn too hard the wrong way one time and break them
    • It's annoying and of all the niggling issues I have with this set, this one hits every single time I use it
    • Then there's also a complaint on the headphone software - every time you press the physical NC button on the headphones, the announcer will inform you if the NC is off, on, or if it's in Ambient Sound mode - which is cool except that it cuts off 3-4 seconds of your music every time you do so
    • I wanted to wait till enough time have passed, and after almost 8 months with these headphones I can honestly say they deserve all the hype surrounding them
    • but I didn’t mind because they work great, great sound, goes a long time without charging and never lost connectivity
    • First day I got my first set of headphones they would not turn on after charging them for the recommended 4-Hour charging time
    • I've been trying to find a good pair of NC head phones and was having a hard time
    • I had the hardest time finding a companion such as this one
    • Best case scenario, my wife is having a "not-so-great" time with our kids, 2 and 4 years old, and I just fire them up listening to spotify, or even a movie on Netflix, and my peace and calm are back in an instant.
    • It's pretty unnerving the first few times you do it, but having the option for ambient sound is amazing when walking through the city.
    • Then it's loud time for you until you turn them back on
    • Amazing sound qualityFantastic noise cancelingWorks every time
    • You’re wasting your time if you think Sony will uphold any warranty
    • how many times but a solid 4 months later I finally got my headphones back...STILL BROKEN
    • I’ll update this as time goes in regards to my experience with battery life, the infamous cracks and such.
    • I've hung up on my sister more than a half dozen times... on accident
    • Amazing sound qualityFantastic noise cancelingWorks every time
    • I mean, I'm pretty openly a metal chick, but I may or may not on rare occasion overshoot my caffeine needs and spend some furtive, shameful time with Britney Spears or, ehrm, K-
    • so many times I damn really HATE that feature.
    • the NFC works great every single time
    • The volume swipe uses rather small increments so you might have to swipe up quite a few times to increase by 50% or more
    • On a 9hr flight, I needed to adjust the right side 3-4 times, until the phones stopped bothering my ears
    • I have a hard time pairing with my laptop and have to redo the Bluetooth pairing at least once a
    • Don't waste your time or money.
    • They smell like formaldehyde and would need some serious time to offgas (gross), but worse, they just didn't sound good
    • As far as comfort, I haven’t done a direct comparison with the Bose (the last time I used the Bose was close to a year ago), but these didn’t bother me, even after 10+ hours of continuous use
    • Freaks people out the first time they experience it
    • Haves used these several times and love them
    • I'm hoping 3rd time is the charm
    • I basically felt "sea sick" each time I put them on
    • Why can't I have quiet time
    • Writing this review to save others the hours of researching and testing of this vs the BOSE quiet comfort.... honestly, I wasted time trying to give bose a fair shot
    • I'm sure with enough time I would perfect the art of tip-toe-ing around accidentally triggering the controls when adjusting the fit, but I will not own them long enough for that to happen
    • n’t look like a freak! The material are very good
    • Noise canceling works good but fit very loosely on head, you cannot move abruptly when wearing or they fall off, wish they fit tighter, also sound quality is not so great for a large headset like these, wish they were louder, don’t recommend.

    • n’t cover accidental damage
    • for reference, I've had some etymotic er4s (passive, in-ear noise cancellation), bose quiet comfort 20, and i compared for some time in the Bose store my current sony wh1000xm3 with the bose quiet comfort 25 and bose quiet comfort 35 i and ii.
    • AMAZING!!I first bought the Bose QC 35II but returned them because I felt they lacked in technology as far as convenience and sound
