We do play games quite a bit as well and there are a lot of them.

Most of the games which Xbox 360 can upscale to 1080i or 1080p (mostly people argue it is fake 1080p, because it is after upscaling, not naturally done) are better than games on PS3, because most multiplatform games on PS3 do not have the option to run them at higher scale of 1080p or even 1080i

So I've had PlayStation, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4Pro,Vita; for some reason most of the good games were on the PS3

So if you are a gamer and you are looking forward to buy a PS3, you wouldn't go wrong with this one and i also recommend to install the games in the hard disk drive, the PS3 is an excellent game system and still has plenty of great games coming, and although the PS4 launch is getting closer (2013 holiday season), the PS3 still has plenty of life ahead, so expect the system to be around 4 more years or until PS5 arrives.

The last generation already had enough power to make awesome games like LBP 2.4

However, it arrived with its plastic body of the unit cracked/broken as though it had been dropped, it was dirty like someone smeared gunk all over it, the HDMI input was so loose that the cable barely stayed plugged in, and ultimately when everything was hooked up to my system, it didn't work at all

PS3 on the other hand upscales it really well and a standard DVD can become sharp and smooth as if it were a blu-ray, to some extent

compared to PC games, it is not addicting but it saved me from becoming a looser as i do love playing video games
