Great Portable Radio

Not the radio, not the CD player, NOTHING WORKS

I bought it based on the Sony brand, as they tend to not be cheesy and cheap like some of the other brands (based on past experience with portable radios).

The radio was all static.

I was looking for a portable radio with a CD player to bring outdoors on occasion and listen to in my bedroom

FM radio sounds great, and has 3 pre-set station buttons.

This is a great radio that has enough bass to fill my condo with Jazz and a nice long antenna to catch radio signals

I wanted a decent sounding radio for my garage.

This Sony more than met my expectations -- affordable (compared with a Bose - have 2 of those!), lightweight, portable (just add batteries), good quality sound, ability to preset my favorite radio stations, and play CD's.

Very good quality radio with great features.

I use this product at my workplace that deals with decibels low enough to where it doesn't require earplugs, the radio (great reception & durable antenna) is loud enough where you can hear it up to about 12ft way in those conditions

I love that you can play or record CDs on it, hook up your digital music through Bluetooth, as well as listen to the old-school, free radio if you want.

Radio receives well

radio excellent.

It pulls in stations that were borderline with my GE Super Radio III, locks them in and in stereo.

We set the mega base and whether we’re listening to our favorite radio stations (which you can pre-set), a CD or our playlist on Bluetooth we get a clear play back, even in our open backyard

I can bluetooth my Spotify library from my phone and listen to my favorite FM radio.

Former portable radios I have owned did not "find" less powerful stations well.

This is an excellent little radio I didn't know what I was going to get sending away for it through Amazon like I did but for the size and everything included in the radio is a really wonderful

Wanted a portable radio and this is a good one for the money.

We next bought a little $25 radio/CD player which works perfectly

There is a slight difference, but not enough to justify the expense compared to cheap clock radio.

However, I like the radio enough to keep it.

Great little portable radio

I love radio, and this has AM and FM as well as Bluetooth and a CD player.

Bottom line, it's still usable as a portable radio, or as a mediocre bluetooth speaker, but I could have spent a lot less than 90 bucks if those were the only features I cared about.

But, this radio isn't worth $80+ (unless it proves to last 20+ years).

An elder I appreciate since I was a kid, she needed a new radio because the radio that she had for a long time, and I mean a really long time

Given that we live where the utility provider has decided to arbitrarily shut off power at unpredictable times during the summer months, it was important to us that we get a unit that can function on batteries during those outages, as well as on the AC power cord
