You have to decide for yourself if the 8X zoom is worth the slower lens speed and much higher price

The price is too expensive for going backwards

So not worth the hefty price tag, returned mine

I'm giving this camera 4 stars because I don't like the really high price and the slower maximum aperture compared to the previous models.

Not worth the price

Cons: Low light performance and image sharpness were not quite as good as with my DSLR (not surprisingly), and hefty price tag.
