Sony SEL50F18 50mm f/1.8 Lens for Sony E Mount Nex Cameras (Black) - Fixed

    • The OSS helps getting sharper shots even shooting at1/200 or faster
    • The f/1.8 setting is great for beautiful close-up shots
    • The reason I chose this over the Sigma was for the OSS, which to my mind with my A6000 would give me a larger number of usable shots.
    • Has optical stabilization to smooth video shots.
    • I got perfectly crisp bright shots despite the terrible lighting
    • I've taken many beautiful shots and portraits with it
    • By 1/6 I still had 80% of the shots usable, but they weren't as sharp as the 1/13 and up shots
    • This lens is great for portraits and landscape shots.
    • The long lens combined with the wide-open aperture makes for some beautiful shots.
    • Crystal clear and very sharp head shots.
    • I was able to get almost all shots sharp at 1/25, and 80% at 1/13.
    • Great macro shots, too, by cropping a shot made from about 15 inches away
    • This lens produces magical shots
    • It takes beautifully sharp shots with loads of bokeh goodness.
    • Great lens for portraits and takes beautiful iso shots with the blurred effect inn the background
    • Fun lens, combined with affordable photo editing software, should allow you to take great shots with rare need to get higher zoom than 50mm x 1.5 crop factor (75mm).
    • Got some nice shots on my entry-level DSLR without much expectations going in.
    • Got it for my NEX 7, and it takes amazing shots.
    • This lens combined with my a6000 gets me way more usable shots compared to what my Nikon 5100 used to do.
    • not a "professional" photographer). The OSS allows you to use a slower shutter speed--good for those quasi-static indoor, poor-lighting shots
    • I'm using it on a Sony a7, so images are cropped from 22Mpixel to 10Mpixel, but I get good, clean shots with it!
    • Fast prime, takes excellent shots even @ 1.8
