The sound quality is very good with excellent bass for such a small speaker

Once you download the apps to modify it and do things like reduce the bass to the minimum possible yield (I STRONGLY encourage this) and turn off the nuisance LEDs, it sounds great

I wish the lights and extra bass could be disabled, and the ability to whack it for sound effects probably won't get much use (and may result in eventual breakage in some groups), but I'd still give it four of five stars.

I like strong bass and this has it

The sound profile was lacking bass and lacking good human singing voice reproduction, the sound's dimension felt small and narrow, and did not hold up in high volume

When I first listened to it the SUPER BASS mode was on by default so the speaker could only go to about 60-70% sound before sounding bad

Overall, it's nice and i'd recommend it if you're looking for an attractive speaker with good bass.

Given the words "Easy Bass" on the box, the emphasis here is obviously on bass, so I was not expecting the sound to be as rich and full as it is

I bought this mostly for listening to audiobooks in the shower/bath (I'm one of those people) and at first the extra bass was REALLY annoying because it makes the narration sound strange

It produces a wonderful sound, with rich, clear bass

Even where standard loses the extra bass, there's still far more bass there than normal.

It has good sound and fine bass, I like the light effects, and the control panel is very user friendly, hidden beneath the waterproofing tab.

I dont think SUPER BASS should be an option with this speaker, it doesnt handle it well

The IP67 rating and the other features mentioned make it a decent option that will provide some durability that's missing from many other portables, but the bass response and lack of charger detract a bit.

My primary complaint is that the bass is a bit too strong

As a result, I've been more or less stuck with whatever the last settings I had, which means muddy bass most of the time

It's very clean sound and does a really good job at low volumes, where many speakers fail because the bass holds up there as well

So, if you're looking for good-looking speaker with nice bass and long-life battery, you should go with Sony SRS XB41, if you need cleaner sound quality, I would probably go with JBL Xtreme.

The Super bass is booming

Arguably the A2 has slightly better highs, but it's a small compensation for getting better bass, for my preference.

Overall, I'm absolutely delighted by their sound quality: clear, crisp highs, mids, and bass, and I appreciate the ability to switch between "extra bass" and "live sound" modes; the latter mostly just weakens the bass a little to bring the highs and mids to the front

One issue I did have and found that other people have, though, is that it will stutter as if it’s buffering about once per song when connected to an Android phone running 6.0 Marshmallow, which admittedly is a few years old now

On my first test run, I had played it with the light show going the full time, as well as with the above average sound level

If you pour water on your speaker you don't have to worry as it will bead off the thing.

We use it for background music at home as well as when my daughters are practicing routines with their music.

Usually, I would recommend this option; however, the flat line on the EQ did sound as good as if you elevated each of the three areas (treble, midtone, bass) in some successive pattern
