When this Sony popped up in my Amazon Vine queue for products available for sampling and review, I almost passed on it since I already have all I need in small BT speakers, but the synced lighting effects on the face of the unit looked kind of fun to me (besides affording my wife the opportunity to roll her eyes at me saying, "Really

But neither detracts from what is a simply an outstanding product!In short, there are no downsides for me - and overall, I could not be happier with this unit

I usually don't like products that also have an app, because the app is usually crap, but not so with this one
