I used to believe that Sony products stood for quality but this product didn't measure up, the CD feature does not work, I didn't try same within the warranty period, CD part hasn't worked period, very disappointed in product and Sony, sorry for negative response but its honest

I have both CDs and old tapes, and this is a nice product to handle both.

But amongst the available products, this one was great value for money.

Get the warranty or buy a better product

I'd bought a cheap-o one and the battery door broke immediately

I unplugged from the power line and used just the C batteries and the hum was completely gone
