Great sound and noise cancelling.

and I feel the sound is just as good maybe even better to me

It doesn't matter if you are flying, watching through the city or puttering around the house it kills all the unwanted sound and only leaves the important stuff.

I would be more likely to buy $80 beyerdynamic sound isolating earbuds, which block out sound close to as well as the active noise cancellation, but have much better sound quality.

Sony Walkman ZX2 in LDAC mode.....a match made in heaven even though the Sony Walkman disables all EQing, its strictly a flat sounding

The sound was good, but if you have large ears or sensitive ears (like me), then these will cause problems.

Anyone that is familiar with the Sony headphones will know that Sonys signature is on the slight dark side of the frequency spectrum, more like the vinyl sound with dips in between the 2-4khz region so while its a very pleasant mellow sound and misses on some of the instruments which reside on the 2-4k region but will not fatigue your ears

There is a clear preponderance of mid-bass that muddies up the sound.

The sound and ANC is unrivaled and the battery life is fantastic

The sound is great for sound accuracy and great bass without it being too much however if you're a bass head, then get other headphones even though these come with a equalizer
