I know Sony was focused more on the sound quality for this product but its overshadowed by the bad ergonomic design.
-
Overall, I think the design is pretty good, they are very comfortable, but the function should be better for the price
-
That said they have various color options and the design isn't bad by any means
-
the only reason I give them 1 star is for a somewhat attractive product design (although the charging case and lid are VERY flimsy and cheaply made).Sound: The sound settings available via the accompanying app, and the default sound settings, are all subpar—especially for the pricepoint
-
THOUGHTS-Attractive design.-Comfortable and easy to insert in ear
-
The case they come in has a battery to recharge them and is a nifty design that is easy to open once you try it a few times
-
Functionality: The button controls aren't well-designed and are somewhat cumbersome to use—especially if you're trying to change a track while you're running or working out
-
Unfortunately, while the Sony SP700N has a few advantages over the AirPods, the AirPods - overall - are a far superior and more thoughtfully-designed product
-
And, I like the sound quality of the more expensive SE425’s.
-
I have always liked the balanced sound quality and ability to isolate myself with a good fit on the Shure 425’s.
