Sony ZSH10CP Portable Heavy Duty CD Radio Boombox Speaker System (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • not very good radio reception
    • I think any man (or strong woman) who likes music/radio at work would love this radio.
    • When I try to listen to FM, there is a radio station near me that bleeds through to just about every other station I try to tune
    • - FM reception for such a costly unit much worse than that of cheaper radios, station for station.- Telescoping antenna is straight-up only; does not rotate in azimuth, or angle from horizontal to vertical.
    • This is a great radio
    • i needed a louder more durable radio for outside BBQing, and seafood boils, this works great
    • Radio has only worked a couple of times.
    • i needed a louder more durable radio for outside BBQing, and seafood boils, this works great
    • I felt that for what I paid I got a fantastic radio that works very well.
    • It's main use would be to sit there all big and red and expensive looking and hope that if a burglar ever comes when I am not home that they will steal this instead of one of my good radios
    • What's the BEST job site radio
    • The CD player produces a better quality of sound than the radio does but that could be due to the crappy radio stations where I live
    • Most are glorified clock radios
    • Great Radio
    • For example, when listening to a rock station, I could hear faint talk-radio.
    • This is a great radio for the price.
    • Nice radio rain/dust proof a plus for rugged out-door use!!
    • I have not tried to use this with radio, since radio is dead where I live (thanks Clear Channel). This boombox is considered portable, but it's built like a tank, weighs as much as a tank and a tank might even be smaller
    • By far the sickest radio out there
    • Sure, you could use batteries instead and avoid the huge powerblock, but who wants to spend money for D size batteries constantly? My husband had wanted this radio for so long and whined for so long to get it
    • I purchased this for my dad, who ruined his other portable radio
    • There must be a better radio for outside usage than this.
    • While I like a durable radio for work, the controls are minimal
    • I had the jvc kaboombox back in 1998, it was a nice sounding radio but a monster at 27 pounds to carry around
    • Very sturdy radio
    • Love this radio, my son is disabled and is hard on stereos and so far has not managed to break this oneHeavy dutyVery durableGreat colorGreat sound
    • I use this one for my work is a hard core I work in construction is my pal so far it been good radio
    • This boombox is no good as a radio
    • The sound quality is great, the rugged construction lives up to the claims on the box, and the features are on par with more expensive radios
    • Very Nice Heavy Duty Radio that will give years of service
    • When my old radio quit working (most likely because of all the dust inside it!
    • Well built, great sounding radio
    • Overall I would highly recommend this portable radio.
    • So - well built gear, great sound, easy to handle (big wheel for volume, nice buttons at the side) combined with very good radio reception: FIVE stars without a blink & highly recommended.*To connect Ipod (or other MP player
    • I purchased this for my dad, who ruined his other portable radio
    • so I 'm not going in detail to much, it 's a great radio, cd system &
    • I can't remember having a radio, modern or old, with a worse tuner
    • But the lack of clean, clear radio reception makes this a no-buy recommendation from me.
    • This radio is very durable and sounds great.
    • The radio looks nice when you remove it from the box.
    • It also will catch far away stations.i came back to write more on this, this radio is super, i really love it.
    • For the price though it should be far better than it is, you can buy a lot of cheaper radios that will do the same job for less money
    • This will be a great radio once I go blind.
    • I was looking for a good radio to bring to the park while I workout and play basketball
    • This radio is great
    • Without the antenna the radio is pretty much worthless
    • He LOVES this radio.
    • i needed a louder more durable radio for outside BBQing, and seafood boils, this works great
    • The radio sounds loud and clear
    • Very few portable radios play both CD's and MP3's
    • The line-in jack is a great feature for working in areas with poor radio reception
    • The radio is great for our needs.
    • My wife even commented that it doesn't sound like a normal dinky portable radio
    • Great radio had one for a couple of years liked
    • It's just a bad ass radio totally worth the money!!
    • so we really enjoy listening to good tunes on a great, rich sounding radio.
    • Overall, the ZSH10 is an excellent radio for the price
    • REALLY big!The sound is outstanding~~good radio reception, too
    • However, with the cumbersome electrical cord, the cd player that doesn't clip the cds in place, the crappy metal antenna that broke on the second day of use, and the overly large size, this radio is a pain to use on a jobsite.
    • I noticed that if I put the radio as far to the interior of my basement as possible some stations don't show up well, but that's like trying to get radio in a cave, so I don't fault the radio for it.
    • Great radio but the same thing happened that you see in the pics.
    • but the radio is pretty much useless.
    • i wish there was a waterproof portable radio!!!!!!!
    • * LOVE * my Sony XDR1 and Sony XDR-S3HD radios.
    • Radio sucks to much static
    • Great sounding radio
    • Is a very nice radio.
    • If you are looking for a bulkier heavy duty type radio this is the one I'd go with.
    • This radio I bought it for my father in law, and he loved it
    • This is almost the perfect jobsite radio.
    • She wanted a portable CD player that was lightweight but durable to take her CD's from room to room as well as to the patio and garden
    • The D battery supply works well since the other jobsite radios require that you own a certain cordless tool to operate their units.
