It still requires a separate stand along powered sub but other than that I love this bar and its sound quality.

All in all, I'd say for the money this is a good buy if you just need a decent bar

Another thing, which at first I found a little comical, is frequently, after pressing a button on the remote, instead of the intended action happening, the speaker, and I'm not kidding, actually says "oops".I haven't looked into it yet, but I'm hoping the bar is compatible with my universal remote
