In comparison to my 20+ year old JBL L60T's, the old speakers are just clearly better.

these speakers work amazingly well!I have them set up with my PTA 1400.

The SA-15Ts where the right size and definately sound as good or even better than my CV speakers.

They don't look as nice as molded speakers but they sure sound just as good, especially with the SA 4000 w amp.

Now this unit it is made some what cheap, speakers can be glued in, it is constructed in a plastic housing, but the price is also cheap relative to very high quality entertainment equipment

to make a long story short, i was able to talk them into sending me a new crossover for my right channel speaker that seemed to be giving me the most trouble, and this is what i want people to know: when i took the speaker apart to install the new crossover, the wire going from the speaker connects to the part of the crossover to feed the bass WASN'T EVEN CONNECTED!!!

The Sony's were not bad speakers, they just aren't near as good as these.

Voices sound better than from my more expensive Legacy speakers and they are very efficient, allowing a lower range Marantz receiver to power them, at least until I get my amp repaired.

These speakers sound great even at high power levels (like 250 watts RMS per channel - doesn't bother them one bit - they sound strong and clean).There is just this little sense that "something" is missing... something is a bit "hollow" in the sound
