Sound Blaster X7 White 127dB, 24-bit 192kHz High-Res External USB DAC and 100W Audio Amplifier for TV, PC, Mac. Dolby Digital, Bluetooth with aptX Low Latency, AAC, Optical, RCA In/Out

    • I'd recommend saving up for the X7 if some of these points make sense to you:*If you live in college dorms, apartments and condos.*Best DSP on the market besides Beyerdynamic Headzone and Smith Realizer - realistically the X7 gets the max quality out of games and can produce better-than-CD music.*Make use of 3 or more features (DAC, amp, surround DSP, Audio Source mixing, etc).*"Next Level" quality, for those seeking better than a Mixamp.*Enough quality and input/output connection
    • The only thing I wish was that the output of 300ohm (there are two settings - low impedance and high impedance) would be even more flexible - since my headphones have an impedance of only 22, this still seems rather high
    • I honestly feel as if the best solution would have been to get two!Pro's:-Robust number of configuration options, easy setup for those that want defaults, & more complex for audiophiles who like to adjust everything.-Clear sound output, Voices in movies are easily understood, Sound of music is eargasmic
    • the one I got had defunct headphone outputs on both plugs
    • As a result, it saturates the input signal with moderate boosts, leading to popping, crackly output.
    • The audio output from STEREO sources through this unit is simply phenomenal!
    • The sound output for music is just plain awesome, we've been dancing around the living room all month to a full range tremendous albums we've played from the X7, and couldn't be any happier
    • The sound quality is excellent, the bluetooth capabilities are awesome, and the internal amp as well as the included higher output power supply have me looking at expensive
    • If you use any "chat" then the Mixamp actually loses some maximum volume output
