They have a very clear sound and can get to a decent high volume level without losing clarity, however the options to adjust bass and treble are a bit limited

But if all these options sound good, and the caveats mentioned above are not deal breaking then I would recommend this unit

The units are a bit too large to be used as desktop speakers on desks in most cases, but they do excellent sound options for a small den or office as well
