I've bought a cheaper version of this type of speaker before only to be disappointed by sound level, and quality all around then it broke after the first use

Earlier version was much louder and did the job

Also, I thought I could save on the $15 price tag by getting a the $5 Aqua Sound version from Five and Below, but the sound quality was definitely lower with the cheaper Aqua Sound version
