Anker/Soundcore did contact me and clarified that the earpads are replaceable----Anker fan here, and have been for quite a while now

These Anker headphones do both very well

Anker has done well with these Soundcore Space NC Headphones, and I highly recommend them if you're looking to purchase a pair of over-the-ear headphones.

This was one of the few Anker products that disappointed me

If I were to compare sound signatures to the headphones I have, they are most similar to the Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 SE, except the Anker is a little warmer with less sparkle and sub-bass, which is not surprising, since the Plantronics have great treble performance with some top end push (10kHz)

Anker has a real winner with these!Three things I wish Anker would have done: made them compatible with their Soundcore app for sound customization, given them the ability to connect with two devices at the same time, and given them a button that cuts off the noise cancelling and opens up the mics to amplify what is going on around you.
