but now the grippy rubber is pulling away from the hard plastic

My previous Speck cases had a shiny plastic back that would get all scratched up over the 2 years between upgrades

The four stars is all personal preference as I'm sure it will protect as well as the last one, but as I saw another reviewer mention, the outside plastic is weird on this one.

This is one nice screen protector with the cheap plastic and cost being the major cons.

The hard plastic near the bottom is on the brittle / weak side
