It landed on its side and shattered the glass

I had this case with the compatible spigen tempered glass screen protector

The smooth glass in my hands was awesome the only reason i got the case was because i feared the back should not be placed on hard surfaces

It fell 33 inches onto a tile floor and the phone practically exploded glass.

Enjoyed the look and feel for a year but was always super careful because didn't seem to protect the glass like other cases

The phone landed on the top right corner from a 2.5 ft drop and the case actually pushed into the phone corner chipping it and breaking the glass across the top

Soft touch rubber is a little slippery but more grippy than smooth glass or plastic

Or get a cover that had raised edges all the way around so that there's no chance that the glass is hitting the ground (unless you drop it in a parking lot with loose gravel like I did last time!

I like this case a lot!Dropped my phone and every time it did I cracked the glass screen easier than any other case I had

Reasons why the case creates pressure at the top and the base of the phone making the tempered glass screen protector Lift Away slightly from the top and bottom causing the notification pull-down screen to lag or not pull down at all and also the bottom part of the screen as well

I mostly got this case because it would fit with the tempered glass "case friendly" screen protector also from Spigen

That protection is in the form of soft rubber and is not enough to protect the fragile glass of the phone if it lands face down

But with any other type of screen protector as long as it's not tempered glass is still pretty good case.

Glass cracked on corner and only had phone for a week.

Not only was the back of the phone cracked but the glass as well

The glass will still hit the ground with sufficient force to crack the screen as it did mine

It looks great, is lightweight and the buttons on the sides are the best I've ever encountered on a case - as easy to find and work as not having a case at all

The phone is too light and delicate as it is...the case is not grippy at all.
