The hard plastic bumper ended up cracking around the hold switch where it is thinnest.

Last night however, the hard bumper around the outside broke.

The edge feels smooth rather than grippy, so anyone who wants a tacky feeling or a fat bumper case should opt for something else... but it is the perfect case for those who prefer a case that feels consistent with the sleek design of the phone and will slide in and out of a pocket effortlessly

The outer bumper has broken twice.

This is an awesome case however, the hard plastic bumper is very slippery.

It probably protects your phone as well as most bumper cases, but go with one that is designed more thoughtfully.

I found the case to be too slippery and I bought the other NeoHybrid case from Spigen that had the clear silicone case with a hard bumper rim.

The Bumper broke the first time it fell down.

A stronger bumper would have earned this case 5-stars.

A month into having the case (which I used less than a few times at that point), the bumper was oddly warped and pulling away from the rest of the case (see pictures)

Update 3/3/18:The so called hard bumper plate is ceacked

The bumper is not that difficult to take off

The bumper definitely doesn't feel as flimsy but will be watching to see if it cracks like the last model.

After only about 4 months and never removing the case, the plastic bumper broke cleanly around the power jack

as advertised just be sure to separate the two pieces first then put the phone in the case then apply the perimeter bumper...very easy
