It gives a very nice soft case to wrap around your entire iPhone and then a hard metal square shaped outer case that fits around the phone.

You gotta install the rubber case on it first, and then secure it with the metal outline that protects the edges

This is a good thing for people who often switch between cases (I use an extended battery case sometimes for when I, you know, need extended battery) since the metal doesn't rub/scratch against the body of the phone

The rim is dark grey metal color and the back is a rubber black color

then the metal broke

Bought few months ago.. outer metal cracked and broke

At first I was afraid that the metal outer bumper was cheap metal, but it’s wothstood multiple falls from 6+ feet.

Its not as great as you think.

One time I did get drunk one night and woke up the next morning and the buttons were missing off the side, still unclear as to how that happened.

The buttons are as fluid and smooth as if you are pressing the buttons of your actual phone.
