I like that I can get different colored back plates also.

I am not rough with the phone, it goes from my pocket to desk and nowhere else and the back plate is just scratched to the heavens and is fading from my hands holding it

back plate will scuff / scratch extremely easily.the reason I chose this case (over the heavy protection cases) is the compromise between aesthetics and protection.
