Have had this case for a week, my phone fell from a coffee table and the corner cracked

The only reason I bought a case, of course, was to protect my phone

Having the top and the bottom of the phone open provides more opportunity to scratch the actual phone - which happened to me

This grey case does not have a good grip, it is very slippery and hard plastic that scratches the phone.

The case is minimalist, allows for a non slippery grip, and you can place the phone down on your lap without it falling down with every slight movement

The glossy finish makes the phone super slippery so this one will be going back.

I am concerned that too much torque applied to the phone frame when putting on or taking off a case may over time damage the phone, but I am just guessing on that.

I never noticed it before but the case has a very loose connection to the phone and it is held by the hard plastic itself (yes there is no padding to protect the phone) and the bottom of the case seems to jiggle around while it's supposed to be protecting the phone

I had this exact model for my iPhone 8 and loved it...but the 8 was a solid, compact phone with a metal back

I recently dropped my phone from about 4 feet high onto concrete and to my dismay, my phone was completely protected (I also had a separate glass screen protector on my phone)

I simply can't recommend this case for a fragile glass phone that costs upwards of 1k
