There's a large lip on the case that protects the screen, and I'm confident if I drop it that the phone will come out ok

I do look forward to getting the a nice regular screen protector and the phone should be good

This does not allow for a screen protector to be used with it and also does not protect the screen at all

It has high ridges on the face side to protect the screen in a typical drop, the backside allows for easy access to the finger print scanner, the top and bottom parts of the case are made of a sturdy and slightly softer rubber like material which covers not only the top of your phone, but it extends around the corners as well.
