The old case was pretty smooth and blunt on the edges but this new case has sharp edges especially at the bottom

While the edge is useful for picking up the phone when it's lying flat, the sharpness of it does make it uncomfortable to hold at times

It appears the manufacturer made little to no attempt at rounding or smoothing the edges down at all.

The back of the case seems to get stretched easily and the edges are a bit sharp if you're not use to them.

But the rubberized edges are not smooth at all, but have sharp edges.

I think the back part of the case could be a little thinner without reducing its protection capability (corners and edges are most fragile part to be protected)
