Spigen really knocked it out of the park with this case, and I can now say that they are my favorite phone case company.

Thinking it must have been installer related (average consumer skill-set), repeated 2 additional times with similar disappointing result and found when finally attempting to apply protective Spigen Tough Armor phone case (then settling for less-than-acceptable product performance/ installation), edges released even further (would not stay down with case installed); frustrating to say the least for such a highly reviewed product; moving to explore different solution.

I had previously purchased a Spigen for my Nexus 6P and it worked great.

So here’s the skinny on the Spigen Tough Amour 2 for the s8+:Pros:- Simple design, can easily pop the case off/on- kickstand, but there are caveats- material offers gripability (yep I sound smart)- covers enough of the funky s8’s curved edge to offer “some” protectionCons:- covers for the power button and volume rocker aren’t tactile enough to distinguish
