I did not use a screen protector for months with this case, and despite dropping it numerous times, I never cracked or shattered the screen

I love that it makes additional space between the screen and whatever surface it may be on because it protects the screen

So even though my phone fell flat on the ground the screen shattered into pieces..

I went to Best Buy and overpaid for an Otterbox case and an overpriced screen protector

I love that the borders are high and bold enough to protect the screen.

The depth of the rubber shock absorber is not deep enough to accommodate a standard glass screen protector without making the screen vulnerable to falls

I also love that the front extends maybe 1-2mm above the face of the phone to prevent drops cracking the screen...it could extend a little further IMO, because having a glass screen protector on it basically removes the benefit of the 1-2mm lip

The only thing to consider is whether or not you personally would prefer a case that inherently protects the screen as well.

Some cases are super annoying b/c the hole they leave for a charging cord is only large enough for the tiny ones that come with your phone.
