Does a solid job of cleaning records and removing stubborn dirt in tracks

The brushes seem to get into the grooves to remove dirt and dust quite well

I could see the dirt in the bottom of the container which gave me affirmation it cleaned the records.

That's OK, though I can't see what dirt comes off the records until I dump the water in the sink

I used to have the old dry brushes to clean the visible dirt and dust off my records - but that was nothing compared to the Spin-Clean Record Washer System.

but it does clean more dirt out than just using a brush.

If you cheat and do only 1-2 you will likely miss some deeply embedded dirt.

The warm water really helps break down the dirt and grime

Though it seems possible for dirt to get onto the pads and scratch the records, it has never happened to

It easily washes away sticky finger prints, serious dirt and grime buildup, and even moldy spots.

Still no improvement and no dirt

Make sure to wipe down/clean the pads especially if you are cleaning a really dirty record dirt will sit on it and could potentially scratch what ever comes next

And the little cheesecloth rags that come with the cleaner are perfect only for leaving lint all over the record surface, as well as charging the vinyl with static electricity as you dry, which sounds just as bad as dirt

That would be the icing on the cake, not having to dry the records by hand and potentially sucking more dirt out of the grooves.

It really cleans the dirt off from the record.

However, my Okki Nokki RCM (with vacuum action) was able to clean deeper and remove stubborn fingerprints or dirt which I could not remove with the Spin-Clean.

After a few records I noticed the bottom of the tub had an assortment of hair, dirt, ashes, fingernails, bugs and plain old dust.

No smudges or other visible dirt

It works like a dream removing deep groove dirt
