If you just need to do a very small job then sure, go for the rattle can but even a small job like a motorcycle tank and side cases would take a couple cans of 2k paint.

This stuff is a dream to lay down, and looks phenomenal after polishing (actually looks good without as well, but motorcycle tanks beg a higher degree of finishing than a car panel).I laid this over fully cured duplicolor lacquer, and have had no ill effects

I've done motorcycle tanks, frames, etc with it and will continue to buy it for anything shy of painting an entire car.
