I bought this and the Dupli-color factory correct color spray paint and did it my self for about $40.00

The paint just failed to harden

Start with a good 2k paint then do the clear coat and you wont regret the results

The paint is a little heavier and filled and leveled nice

I usually bake the paint and clear coat to cure and harden

This paint is amazing

On one of the classic car forums a user reports using Y2k products outside, under a tree, only to have dead birds drop on top of his fresh paint

this paint is HARD, its not like sanding a general use clear coat) , and yes ill finish up the real small scratch removal tomorrow, i swear

Please note: it will not work magic if the paint is damaged or faded, or if you don't prep the surface correctly!

This clear is amazing, and no paint gun to clean afterwards

Used it for clear-coating some fresh paint on a small recreational hovercraft

Also, it beaded up in some areas, which made the paint look terrible

It looked pretty d@mn good for a garage paint job, but once you learn about this process you can see all the good and bad paint jobs from a mile away.

* Wetsand off most of the clear and all of the trouble spots on the hood, then clean the paint with naptha* painted the entire hood with two cans of the duplicolor color coat (one coat per can - the seller replaced the can tip with the same type of tip that's on the cans listed here - good, but not great if you're used to spraying off the gun - predictable result - orange peel

Once you activate the hardener the paint is only useable for about a day so get everything you want to spray prepped before you start

so I figured it had to be as good as the customized paint I bought for my car

to get the most out of the product you must prep the paint, wet sand, smooth all imperfections to get the best shine

This clearcoat is super easy to use and it makes the paint look great

In general this worked almost as well as the paint, but note that the nozzle on the clearcoat can is more of a vertical fan than you will find on spray paint

Been riding it all summer, over 6000 miles so far, paint still looks great.

Hopefully it will protect the paint in the event fuel spills on it.

Really great touch up paint , my car had many chipped on the hood, and now it looks better!

I used it on a helmet whcih had a nice paint schem but had a matte finish whcih I didn't like

It lays just paint from a gun, shines without any wet sanding or polishing, and is durable

The only thing to warn about is orange peel but with proper sanding and polishing it will give you a beautiful clearcoat finish to protect your paint.

It basically ruined my project because I had to turn around and sand a perfectly painted panel

One of the worst paints I have ever had
