I'd prefer general spokes over specialized ones, but I understand that maybe this can't be accommodated for such a small dishwasher.- The "mug" shelf (as shown in the pictures and instructions) has too low of a clearance for any reasonable sized mug

Smaller particles, sauces, oils, beverage residue, etc are fine to leave on there and your dishes will come clean with no problem if you're using a good detergent

I'm still regarding this as a very worthwhile investment, enjoying having an orderly kitchen and sparkling clean dishes.

I had to unscrew the hose to clear it, resulting in a huge mess all over my kitchen - filthy water everywhere - only to find the plastic die cutout for the plastic piece on the back wasn't punched out fully, so it jammed itself.

A few things, our water doesn't get super hot where we live, so sometimes a few severely dirty dishes don't make it out as expected

It does occasionally make a louder spurt when it drains extra water into the sink, but it's not very often and is brief.

I forget that it is running sometimes - but you can hear when it drains water out, which isn't a problem at all

Edit on 4/18/2018: The dishwasher got worse...even if I give it hot water it leaves dishes dirty and mostly dry, like it's not even trying anymore

It's not a perfect fix though, because some water will still remain, but that's also just a problem with countertop dishwashers in general

Only odd thing I've noticed is that the beeps from the buttons are at a frequency that upsets my dog

Sometimes when it drains it startles the dog, but even that's not really all that loud
