Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Jaguar Beginner Short Scale Electric Bass Guitar - Silver

    • The tone is extremely clear
    • The P-pickup is clear and strong with a great P tone to it.
    • is really weak compared to the P, but the tone is very good overall.
    • The guitar sounds good when plugged into an amp, has almost a sharp tone to it in my opinion, sounds better than I thought and very easy to play
    • But...It has excellent tone for a baritone conversion
    • Good, clear tone, NO HUM, and the DUH realization that this sounds like a Fender bass should.
    • okay ...went back to playing my old bass...evidently some people are getting one with active pickups??too much of a muddled sound..have to mess around with the controls too much to get a good tone ..strings are lame..
    • With a beautiful finish and great tone this short scale bass is perfect for people with small hands like myself
    • Good P-Bass tone.
    • Pair it with the Behringer Vintage Tube pedal...and you're pretty much done setting a foundation for awesome tone.
    • The tone and pickups are fine and it has a great bass "feel" and sound.
    • The pros: nice fit and finish, frets polished well, straight neck, decent tone
    • I would buy this guitar again, but I would buy it from a brick and mortar b/c of the bad tone potentiometer, lack of literature, and god-awful packaging.
    • I've played Fender Basses for years and love the tone
    • Plugging into my amp, adjust the knobs to get the volume and tone I like and start playing, can't really put it down
    • This guitar has a nice tone and a very forgiving fretboard with much buzz
    • Smooth action, good tone and feel.
    • This cheap-o sounded as good as my P-bass
    • This cheap-o sounded as good as my P-bass
