The tone is extremely clear

The P-pickup is clear and strong with a great P tone to it.

The guitar sounds good when plugged into an amp, has almost a sharp tone to it in my opinion, sounds better than I thought and very easy to play

okay ...went back to playing my old bass...evidently some people are getting one with active pickups??too much of a muddled sound..have to mess around with the controls too much to get a good tone ..strings are lame..

With a beautiful finish and great tone this short scale bass is perfect for people with small hands like myself

Pair it with the Behringer Vintage Tube pedal...and you're pretty much done setting a foundation for awesome tone.
