Aways thought the solder had of enough rosin core flux in it for the job.

Applying paste is much better than using rosin core in my opinion.

Best rosin paste your use, seriously I’ve had issues with some of those off brand name ones and this product outshines everything else, ease to use goes on smooth, comes with more than enough paste, and is a great value.

I like that the rosin is made especially for electrical and electronic soldering and that it is petrolatum-based so it will not dry out like some other products.
