These so far I haven't had any problems on single sided coloring books with these; double sided; I would trust them though; like in Johanna's books the Secret Garden and her other books.

There are a lot of GREAT "steampunk" coloring books out there that just SCREAM for metallics!These pens are still amazing though -- and I own one of these 36-count sets for home, AND one for the office (because...STRESS)!

For example, the pastel purple ends up a pretty dark purple...kept them, but haven't used them much or colored my book much because I don't love them.

I love these pens for colouring my adult colouring books however some of the colours do not match the caps.

The pens are sleek and a perfect match to color the thin and detailed drawings of Johanna Basford's Lost Ocean coloring book.

These pens are veryyyyy fine, so I recommend you use them for more intricate adult coloring books

I've finally found the pens to use for my nicer coloring books -- the ones with brilliant artwork but that contain images printed on both sides of the page.
