There is also a pale pink cap color that goes with a marker that is actually a really unattractive salmon color ink.
-
The quality of these markers is excellent, but I am very disappointed with the deceptive cap colors.
-
I was so excited.... and as I started trying out the pens my heart sank.... they were uninspiring, and I realized that the caps were loose on more than one third of the pens
-
For example, the ink color for the marker with the pale lavender cap (top row, right side, directly to the left of a light grey marker) is actually eggplant, something I did not discover until I started coloring with it in one of Johanna Basford's
-
As an example, the pen with the pale purple cap is a deep purple, nearly black
-
For example, I found the pale lavender marker cap to cover a nice rich dark purple color.
-
Also, you can leave the cap of the pen for a while and they still work
-
I use these for adult coloring books, so I used a sharpie to number all the caps, and I have a cheat sheet that shows each pen/number corresponding to its true ink color
-
For example, the ink color for the marker with the pale lavender cap (top row, right side, directly to the left of a light grey marker) is actually eggplant, something I did not discover until I started coloring with it in one of Johanna Basford's
-
The box also gives a pretty good idea of what the color of the ink is going to be as well as the caps
-
Most are much darker, but a turquoise one that has a darker cap/end is actually a very very light aqua.
-
As I was rewriting my notes, the cap came off and my cat stole it
-
Also, FYI, I will vouch for the fact that NONE of the colors look like the cap's color
-
I have lost caps and still been able to use the pens
-
Pros:- Slightly sturdier feeling than Stabilo (like the shape better)- Don't bleed as much as
-
They're great for coloring as they don't bleed through the way other markers do (unless you press way too hard or go over one spot way too many times
-
Be careful if you are drawing over pencil though, as they will smudge if you don't give enough drying time before erasing the pencil underneath
-
I use them to color as well as to color code my planner
-
Keep in mind, that the camera won't pick up pigmentation as well as in person
-
They DO NOT BLEED out as you are coloring.
-
Not as great as I had hoped.
-
Some don't work as
-
and so I know what colour they really work as
