I will show a couple of works in progress so you can decide for yourself, but if you are crazy about the details and will happily spend several hours hunched over a table with your face 6 inches from the paper, these should be a no-brainer!!!Both pictures are from Grimms Adult Fairy Tale book, which has to be far and away the best detail oriented coloring book I have found

For coloring in a shape, they almost seem too thin (but again, if you want the ability for complex drawings and detail, these are idea)

I would suggest putting some paper or cardstock behind coloring book pages where the paper is thin because they do have a bit of bleed through, but other than that really nice pens that are great for coloring in fine details.
