Now the 1.0 mm leads are thicker but the points seem duller and they also snap on you when drawing (maybe not as easily or as often).

So far it creates incredibly fine lines though trying to sketch lightly takes some getting used to (its a bit tip heavy), but with a sharp point you can get really fine line work to really bold with heavier pressure
