Great sharpener, gets the job done without the pencil tips breaking (my pet peeve)

It does a good job of sharpening pencils but doesn't hold very many shavings

so we sharpen a lot of pencils and this does the best job by far of any portable little sharpener of achieving a fine sharpened point and not breaking the lead.
