When I was using the Faber-Castell's I found that my thickest pen would give off a skinny line and then really thick line all in the same stroke
-
You'll notice that the Staedtler pen leaves darker and smoother lines
-
The lines flow smoother and I don't have to go over the finer lines because the tip streaked
-
The finest line pen in this pack is .05 (0.05mm, 0.1mm, 0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm)
-
the lines are perfect
-
I haven't had issues with drying out or anything so far, and the lines are really smooth
-
I prefer these to the Sakura Micron and Sanford Prismacolor pens, as they provide smoother and more uniform lines
-
Great for drawing mandalas, tattoos, and other fine line work
-
The lines are smooth and crisp
-
The lines are butter smooth even with the thinnest nib size
-
I love these pens for all of my fine lining needs
-
They're long lasting and create crisp, precise lines that make my projects look great!
-
They lasted quite well and kept their thin lines quite well.
-
However, when I am drafting with them I have to go over my lines quite often in order to make a solid line.
-
Best fine-line markers I have used
-
Great product does thick to fine lines and doesn't smug on paper .
-
If you just want the finest line you can get, look at the Staedtler .2mm
-
I loved the thin controlled lines they made
-
And needed to find them as a gift for someone else who hasn't been blessed by the fine line goodness these are for art purposes
-
The outline is pen #4, and the fine lines are pens #1-2.
-
Great line and great durability.
-
I also enjoy the larger pen size that comes in the kit, when I do heavy outlines it saves me from having to switch to a sharpie, so my heavier lines are cleaner as well.
-
Smooth, even line weight, pigmented, I could go on and on
-
The ink is intensely black and leaves bold clear lines that dont fade
-
Bottom line I'd order them again and I'd recommend!
-
The lines are clear, dark, and smooth
-
The lines are wonderfully black and dry almost instantly and are truly permanent as some other brands claim but then fail to be
-
I loved the clear, very dark black, permanent lines, but cleaning and maintaining the pen was a chore, and when I graduated from college and no longer took so many notes, I quit using it
-
The Staedtler pens have blacker ink, make crisper, clearer, smoother lines, last much longer and the points don't get all mushy like the Microns tend to do
-
Third time I'm buying a Staedtler liner set, they come in variety of nibs and colors, last a very long time, no smudging, sharp lines.
-
Still works after many uses, does not smear, makes the lines and picture nice and clean.
-
It is a little streaky and the line is not consistent
-
They give a nice smooth black line
-
If you like superfine lines, this set is for you
-
These are some of the best lining pens I have ever bought
-
but I am already enjoying the lines these pens produce
-
The first time I opened the package only 2 of the 6 drew solid lines; the others marked as if they were running low on ink.
-
Smooth flow of ink with no stop-starting breaking up lines; very quick-drying too
-
My only wish is that they would make a brush tip and a 0.03 tip for my very-fine, usually small line drawings
-
No sloppy splatters or thick beads at the end of a strike - just perfectly controlled lines
-
The lines are crisp and clean.

Still great for fine and smooth line work
