If you are into war based strategy games that keep you on your toes, then this is the game for you but, if you are new, I recommend getting the regular version instead of the collector's edition

All the extras that come with the collector's edition are really sweet, love the art

I got the collector's edition because I'm fascinated by Blizzard's storytelling

But if you are just wanting to play HotS then the standard edition would be just enough.

The contents of the collector's edition are very nice, from the hard cover art book to the great looking mouse pad

Blizzard although having consistent and high quality collectors editions, also are very formulaic in their content for these additions

Great edition comes with everything I need, the mousepad is really sick.

This is a fantastic edition to the Starcraft franchise.

If those things aren't right for you, the standard edition at 39.99 is still a steal for such a great game.

It may not be the most robust collectors edition, but if you are a starcraft fan it is a must have

The extras like the mouse pad, which I use every day, soundtrack, dvd/blu-ray making of, and art book are amazing editions to this purchase for people like myself that love to see more into the background of the game
