The kids are safe!

Both my kids loved the vest and were comfortable in them

My daughter is about 35-40lb, while there was room for the straps loosen, it seemes like a stalkier kid might find it a bit tight.

Most kids do not like life jackets

It fits both kids great with a little room to grow

Maybe that's just what you have to deal with when you have a skinny kid.

I extended the buckles as far as I
