JUST REMEMBER if you are going to wall mount it on sheet rock only, to pre drill pilot holes for the sheet rock screw anchor, doing the extra step is assurance, it will be a clean proper install, and will look good

Violins tend to be rather light, so you might be able to get away with just using the dry-wall anchors, but I would definitely recommend installing into a stud if you can

My only complaint is that the part which holds the bow isn't changeable, so the bow is always on the right side of the violin as it hangs.~
