I guess elevating the entire stand could be an option, but that might make the top part even less steady.
My only note to potential buyers, make sure you have a proper stand with a heavy base to hold the mic booth.

I'll be upgrading mine as I don't trust my stand to hold this thing!One star taken off due to black hole density weight.
I had to cannibalize the microphone stand that I already owned which I happened to have a properly threaded screw which I was able to re-purpose and use to secure the metal slide to the middle leg
