I got this as an interim mic when my really nice one broke (because I can't just immediately drop another $160 right now on a new one)

Honestly for the money you are getting a great little mic

The mic makes random crackling and buzzing noises which makes it impossible to record anything

For beginners, this is a reasonable mic to start with.
