Just measure the length from base of neck to base of tail and it gives you the correct size

We used this for our 7mo old puppy that got neutered, we read through the comments and found the adequate size for our puppy

I was having a difficult time trying to get accurate size for my 15lb maltipoo/shitzu mix puppy who needed suit after neuter surgery, I went with the x-small which normally he wears small in his sweaters etc... glad I got the x-small, It fits him perfectly, not too snug but not too loose either, Not sure how the small would have fit
