    Super Mario Galaxy 2

    • A must have especially if you have Super Mario Galaxy...goes on where the other one leaves off...more levels
    • This, and the first Super Mario Galaxy, is my favorite games of all time
    • Hard to believe it, but they actually improved upon Super Mario Galaxy
    • Its not really a sequel to the first, on one had it begins in almost the same fashion, but without the adorableness of the original "lost luma" story or the (much hotter than peach) galaxy princess, who i think they removed because Peach couldn't handle the competition.
    • I mean while playing Super Mario Galaxy, I was standing there in my living room eagerly and excitedly trying to figure out their weak points all the while totally amazed that Nintendo actually went the extra mile in making them so varied
    • Also, each level has Bowser flags that you can switch to Mario flags, thus marking your continue spots (in the first game, there was no indication of where you would continue if you died). As in the first game, I was disappointed Super Mario Galaxy 2 did not have any additional rewards for collecting power stars
    • It does not go without saying that Super Mario Galaxy was a huge breakthrough for the Nintendo Wii seven years ago (Yes
    • Control wise, Galaxy was already perfect, but the camera needed fixing
    • Great game and would highly recommend to anyone who liked Super Mario Galaxy
    • Miyamoto also apparently suggested that players would want to hear arrangements from Super Mario Galaxy, which is why the soundtrack is a mixture of brand new pieces and arrangements of themes from the original Galaxy as well as many past installments in the Mario series, such as Super Mario World and Super Mario 64
    • It has taken a successful formula [Mario Galaxy] and has innovated in important areas
    • The first Galaxy was great, but I am so glad that Yoshi has made his return in this installment
    • i really enjoyed super mario galaxy 1 but 2 is really a step above
    • If you didn't like Super Mario Galaxy, or got too frustrated, don't be surprised if you hate this one
    • If you like Super Mario Galaxy you'll be sure to like this even more.
    • I know I will get alot of heat for this one, but I'm one of the few people who really dident enjoy Super mario Galaxy that much
    • I would highly recommend super mario galaxy 2 to anyone that loves mario!
    • I especially enjoyed the Throwback Galaxy, which was a near-identical version of Whomp's Fortress from Super Mario 64.
    • You always want more...and thats why Mario Galaxy 2 is successful here
    • Super Mario Galaxy was an astounding achievement in video game design back in 2007, and to this day it remains an excellent and thoroughly
    • Fun game, but Galaxy 1 is better
    • the familiar underground Super Mario Bros. theme turned really eerie and haunting in the Flip-Out Galaxy
    • I could also say that the final galaxy, the Grandmaster Galaxy, was too hard to be much fun and didn't feature any new creative twists
    • If you enjoyed Mario Galaxy, or if you are looking to have a great gaming experience- don't hesitate to pick up Mario Galaxy 2!
    • If you liked the first Super Mario Galaxy, you'll love this one
    • Oh, and I also loved the hidden galaxies
    • If galaxy 3 had difficulty levels, like easy, normal, hard and insane, and made the cosmic guide available after losing 5-10 lives on any level, I would probably easily give it 5 stars
    • my grandson loves the first mario galaxy and he and his mom say it's just as much fun as the original!
    • I loved the first Super Mario Galaxy, and it felt like I had to wait forever before this incarnation of the game came out
    • This game is very addictive, has imaginative galaxy worlds, has lots of levels, and is just tons of fun
    • In another level (Clockwork Ruins Galaxy
    • galaxy 2 feels more like NSMB with it's world map structure.
    • I thought the first Super Mario Galaxy was addictive, but this sequel is even harder to put down.
    • That game makes Mario Galaxy 2 look like a Leapster game for 4 year olds
    • I promised my 7 year old I would get him this one when he finished Super Mario Galaxy, which he promptly did.
    • I bought this game for my son after playing super mario galaxy, we had to have the second edition
    • I bought this for my daughter after she spent countless hours playing Super Mario Galaxy last year.
    • I don't quite understand the reasoning when people say they liked Galaxy 2 over the first
    • I loved Galaxy 1 and o
    • I played the first galaxy and like it, but the second is much better, more levels, challenges and a lot of nostalgic.
    • I just loved loved loved the original super Mario galaxy, it's levels were so complex and captivating, I couldn't put the controller down
    • If you liked the first Super Mario Galaxy, this one polished up minor issues with the first game
    • but she a lot more than I.The game is identical to the first Super Mario Galaxy game in most ways
    • The first Super Mario Galaxy was the perfect video game.
    • If you liked Super Mario Galaxy, you're sure to like the sequel
    • I didn't think Nintendo would be able to top the first Super Mario Galaxy with this sequel, but I do believe they did (though, only slightly)
    • just as awesome as super mario galaxy even more because you can ride on Yoshi
    • There is no doubt about it that Super Mario Galaxy remains as one of the most defiant games for the Nintendo Wii
    • Amazing game!Recommend if you enjoyed the 1st Super Mario Galaxy!
    • But while Galaxy 2 is great for almost all the same reasons as the first game was, it still stands out from its predecessor in many ways and stakes its claim as one of the greatest video games ever made
    • Super Mario Galaxy by Nintendo is a great game, with many worlds, which involve challenges to progress and achieve the objectives
    • Overall, I would recommend Super Mario Galaxy 2 to anyone who likes platformers, as it is the best one on the Wii.
    • I gat that game for my Son for Christmas he loves playing this game he gat Super Mario Galaxy
    • I love Super Mario Galaxy 1 and Super Mario Bros Wii, but this game is definitely better
    • The first Super Mario Galaxy is perhaps the greatest game for the Wii
    • - This is the biggest flaw in the game, and was carried over from Super Mario Galaxy.
    • They didn't seem to like the first Mario Galaxy too much but they love this one, its hard to pull them away from it, their ages are 8 and 5.
    • I played a little myself and found it to be just as fun and entertaining as the original Mario Galaxy
    • Absolutely boring and a chore to go through these particular stages (the chore being, when you're not sure you'll make it across a long gap so you instinctively spin Mario at the end of a long jump and yet, spinning in this stage could result in a quicker death than you originally planned). The Supermassive Galaxy is obviously trying to recapture some of the magic that World 4 of Super Mario Bros. 3 used by scattering the levels with overgrown, super-sized enemies, however it's underutilized and way too short here
    • The Flash Black Galaxy is a total ripoff of an old Donkey Kong Country level where the lights frequently flicker on and off
    • The game is so much fun and challenging, actually much more so than Super Mario Galaxy.
    • Super Mario galaxy has everything you could want for in a game, and it is always fun
    • I liked the first Super Mario Galaxy.
    • If you didn't like Super Mario Galaxy, or got too frustrated, don't be surprised if you hate this one
    • If you enjoyed Super Mario Galaxy, you'll probably enjoy this game, as it is much of the same with a few new ways of getting around stages and new bosses to fight.
    • Oh and Bulb Berry's Mysterious Glow (or rather Sweet Mystery Galaxy) contains another excellent theme that captures the feeling of dreaminess
    • TV.Personally I liked super mario galaxy
    • SUPER MARIO GALAXY II makes the Wii shine at its best
    • In fact, Galaxy was so good that when I heard that a direct sequel would be coming a mere 2 ½ years later, I had my doubts as to how the game would be a worthy successor without simply rehashing everything that made the first game so great
    • Super Mario Galaxy is one of the most inventive, surprising games, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 somehow keeps the surprises coming
    • If you liked the original, you'll love Super Mario Galaxy 2 and if you haven't, but enjoy bright and fun adventure games, you'll love it as well.
    • All in all, if you're a owner of the Nintendo Wii and you've loved the original Super Mario Galaxy, than I absolutely recommend Super Mario Galaxy 2 as a great addition to your Wii library
    • Super Mario galaxy 2 is the sequel to Super Mario galaxy and is probably one of the best games n the Nintendo wii when it comes to size of the game and graphics.
    • I admit I absolutely LOVE the Upside Dizzy Galaxy theme
    • Super Mario Galaxy
    • I loved the first Super Mario Galaxy and the sequel improves in almost every category.
    • Super Mario Galaxy 2 Super Mario Galaxy 2 is one of my favorite games to play on the Wii and I highly recommend it if you don't want to play sports or exercise games.
    • I have a 10-year old daughter who recently lost Mario Galaxy 1.
    • The backgrounds may be beautiful (especially the dark green trees and peaceful flowing rivers in Wild Glide Galaxy) but the frustratingly SUPER slow control movements of the actual gliding makes it hard for me to enjoy these stages
    • None of this may sound all that original but these power-ups aren't great merely because of the concept they present, but how they are put to use and how the level design forces players to get creative with how to utilize these abilities, and that is what makes Galaxy 2's level design shine
    • the different galaxies are astonishing and there are hidden secrets everywhere.
    • We loved the first Mario Galaxy and expected to enjoy this one as well.
    • I'm a decent but not great gamer and Galaxy 2 is definitely more difficult than the first Galaxy game.
    • i am a diehard super mario 64 fan and super mario galaxy 2 comes very close if not surpassing it in many ways
    • The first Galaxy was a groundbreaking game for the Wii, and the sequel does not disappoint
    • Super Mario Galaxy was great, this, is better
    • Before this game came out, I openly discussed this game as appearing to be simply an expansion to the first excellent Mario Galaxy
    • There are sweeping tunes that give the worlds a sense of scale (Cloudy Court Galaxy), brassy ones that highlight deadly worlds (Melty Monster Galaxy), oddly haunting ones that raise the tension (Space Storm Galaxy), and more synthetic ones that highlight levels returning to Mario's platforming roots (Hightail Falls Galaxy).Galaxy 2 is a great game all-around, showing that the basics of 2D 1980s games can not just survive, but thrive well into 2010.
    • Galaxy 2's soundtrack lacked this
    • Super Mario Galaxy 2 does this, leading the pack in visual appeal and creativity
    • I had heard all praises for Super Mario Galaxy and was eager to try out the sequel
    • This game is harder than the Galaxy 1.Yoshi is awesome
    • The most frustrating galaxy in the new game, the Stone Cyclone Galaxy, was only a planet in the original - part of a succession of anger-inducing puzzles and traps.
    • My husband and I love Super Mario Galaxy, and this is way better
    • While it might have been nice to see something different, it's hard to ignore the fact that even if Galaxy 2 had a marvelous plot, the rest of the game's strengths would still overwhelmingly overshadow it
    • Galaxy 2 takes what worked about Galaxy 1, streamlines it, distills it and makes it even better.
    • The gameplay of Super Mario Galaxy 2 is similar to Super Mario Galaxy, with a focus on platforming based on and around 3D planets (referred to collectively as galaxies) with varying themes, sizes, landscapes, and climates
    • Though I still liked the first Super Mario Galaxy better than this sequel (because of its better storyline), I found this game to be a joy
    • So no, Galaxy 2 isn't perfect
    • Unlike the first Super Mario Galaxy, the "second half" of the game is more meaningful and won't leave you bored and disappointed when you finally beat it.
    • I never played Galaxy 1, but LOVE how wonderful part 2 is
    • One thing that always bothered me about Super Mario galaxy was to get to a level you had to run around this "sub-level" into a little house in order to see what galaxies are available and if you have gotten all of the stars
    • Even better than Galaxy 1 - After getting all the regular stars, the green stars offered additional game play (the Grand master Galaxy is a lot of fun too).
    • It's also a practically complete repeat of the first Super Mario Galaxy game,
    • Galaxy 2 has made significant improvements in longevity as well
    • Galaxy 2 has made significant improvements in longevity as well
    • Though this problem is rampant throughout the game, several worlds in particular make it nigh-impossible to make it through on the first (or second, or third) try: Hightail Falls, Wild Glide, Sweet Mystery, Boo Moon (only the first part of the levels, though), Fleet Glide, Slimy Spring, and Stone Cyclone (itself a revisit to a section of a world from Super Mario Galaxy).
    • My 5 year old son loves the new super mario galaxy and it is something he can play with his older sister as well.
    • however I'm a little disappointed that they don't mention the events from the first Super Mario Galaxy game
    • If you liked Super Mario Galaxy you will love this game even more
    • Super Mario Galaxy was universally praised for its unapologetic abandonment of all rationality and logic in the interest of creative freedom
    • The controls aren't as smooth as in previous 3D Mario games (just try to do a reverse or triple jump, good grief) and I do believe that this is the first Mario game in which the power-ups were a hindrance rather than a help
    • they may lose me as a
    • It's just as good as
    • Yoshi adds a surprising amount of fun to the game+ 242 stars makes a massive and expansive game+ Graphics are every bit as good as
    • Product did not work as it had a terrible amount of scratches
    • There are also new power-ups here too from the cloud suit, where as you jump you can make clouds become simple platforms to help you on your quest which can help you earn those extra stars, and the Rock suit that can make you Invincible as you can easily smash your way through foes and rocks to uncover hidden star bits
    • A couple other bosses (and levels) come back for another round as well (such as an even easier to defeat Bugaboom, and that one thwomp area from Beach Bowl Galaxy but sped up considerably faster this time) and these are all totally pointless returns since we've already completed them in the previous game
    • You still run as fast as you can to the end of the stage, stomp on enemies, hit powerup blocks and the like.
